Fall
Your heart filled with hate vacuums the smile off my face.  It makes a bad day pass slower  —your backward ideas—  stumbling and falling instead of reaching…  I don’t want to.  I dont want to look at the stars with you  until you can look at strangers with me  (and smile instead of smirk) a sneer across your face,  everything is ugly to you  (and beauty can’t exist in...

Better Things
Yesterday was awesome. My professor cut the class short, took us to see the senior show in Dumbo, and bought us all beer. When I got back to Willoughby, they were handing out glow in the dark condoms (hooray!) and my future roommates were watching a movie on Adam’s projection screen.  Death Proof is awesome. Also, I had leftover Thai food.  Soooooo good. Still can’t wait until...

Finals
I feel like crap, I’m uppity, and I can’t wait to leave this place and get my summer on. It’s so easy to feel desperate and isolated at this school.

A Little Love Poem by Andy Weaver Someone who hates scrabble. Someone who sleeps on her back near an open window in winter, her breath rolling like a river into night. Someone who wants me to wake her in the morning by reading ee cummings’ love poems, giving a small candle-flicker of a smile just before opening her eyes. Someone who appreciates the architecture of churches, but...

New Jersey
Yesterday, we went to the abandoned place and took photos.  Today, we went hiking in a park in the woods and hung out by the waterfall. What a beautiful state. Photos are up on facebook.

I stood in the shower until the water ran cold
Thinking about someone who fucked me up.  Lied a lot.  Wrecked my shit. I stood there, wishing he were dead. Then I noticed the water was cold.  I noticed how it was making my tattoos brighter, darker, more vibrant.  I thought about each of them, and why I got them. I turned off the water and stepped out without crying. I was always a sensitive child.

Poem Of Night 1  I move my hand over slopes, falls, lumps of sight, Lashes barely able to be touched, Lips that give way so easily it’s a shock to feel underneath them The bones smile. Muffled a little, barely cloaked, Zygoma, maxillary, turbinate. 2  I put my hand On the side of your face, You lean your head a little Into my hand—and so, I know you’re a dormouse...

Mad Girl's Love Song- Sylvia Plath
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead; I lift my lids and all is born again. (I think I made you up inside my head.) The stars go waltzing out in blue and red, And arbitrary blackness gallops in: I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead. I dreamed that you bewitched me into bed And sung me moon-struck, kissed me quite insane. (I think I made you up inside my head.) God topples from the...
